There are so many things that you hear when you start a weight loss journey. The biggest is that you will have to eat salads all day and the food is boring and bland. That doesn't have to be the case. Thanks to Gennifer I have eaten amazing recipes that have contributed to my 189 lbs. weight loss. I have eaten cookies, chili, muffins, pizza stuffed chicken and more.  I haven't tried a recipe that hasn't made me excited to eat. For example, I don't like beans but decided to try the chili. However, I made it and OMG it was AMAZING! It became my favorite meal!  I am not confined to fish or chicken and vegetables with no flavor!


Gennifer takes into consideration that flavor for most, is a way to keep a person on track. I am so thankful to have Gennifer be a part of my weight loss journey! I get to lose weight and enjoy my food at the same time, it's a win win!

I am a Type 1 Diabetic and 18 year cancer survivor.  Of course I love good food and decided over a decade ago I wanted to learn how to still enjoy the foods I always loved in the most nutritious and healthy way I could. Along with improving my own health I also wanted to be the best role model for my 2 daughters that I could be. All of this has led me to where I am today.

Cooking, creating and always learning how our body's work and what they need is a daily passion of mine. Teaching others about what is in the foods you find in the stores, giving you new ideas on how to help your family maintain a healthy lifestyle and so much more is going to be found here.  Living your best life, positively and at your healthiest to me is what true living is all about.
