I’m Gennifer Strobo—Integrative Health Practitioner, certified nutritionist, Type 1 diabetic for over 30 years, and two-time cancer survivor. Like so many of you, my story isn’t about beating the odds. It’s about learning to live well—even when life throws you curveballs.
Over a 18+ years ago, I realized that my love of food didn’t have to conflict with my health. It could actually become my strength. I taught myself how to turn real ingredients into meals that were not only nourishing—but delicious, satisfying, and blood sugar-friendly. What started as a personal mission quickly became a professional calling: helping other women stop fighting their bodies and start fueling them instead.
I’ve seen too many women following restrictive, "doctor-prescribed" meal plans to correct their insulin resistance or elevated A1C - that feel more like punishment—choking down plain chicken, counting every calorie, blaming carbs for a “broken” metabolism that’s not broken at all.
